Match Facts

Brazil will play their first international friendly since the end of 2019 on Thursday, while South America will face South Korea at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.

Both teams have qualified for the 2022 World Cup, and five-time world champions Brazil will be considered one of the favorites to lift the trophy in Qatar In addition to reaching the last 16 of the 2010 tournament, South Korea, who finished fourth in the 2002 edition, have played in the last nine World Cups.

The hosts finished second in Group A behind Iran with 23 points from their 10 World Cup qualifiers, but ended their campaign with a 1-0 defeat to the UAE at the end of March. South Korea is set to play four friendly matches in Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Egypt in the next two weeks, and all four matches will be valuable preparations for the upcoming World Cup.

Polo Bento's team will draw in Group H in Qatar, where they will face Portugal, Ghana and Uruguay, with their match opener coming up against the second on November 24th. South Korea's last international friendly was in January, when they beat Moldova 4-0, defeating Lebanon, Syria and Iran in three straight qualifiers, the last time they lost to the UAE.

Brazil, meanwhile, are aiming to win their sixth World Cup by the end of this year, with the Tito team entering the tournament as one of the favorites for the trophy. Selekavo's last victory in the tournament came back in 2002, and in addition to finishing fourth on home soil in 2014, they reached the quarter - finals in three of the last four editions.

There is no doubt that the South American nation has performed poorly in the recent World Cups, but they have been very strong in their qualifying campaign, winning 14 matches and drawing three of 17 matches, finishing first in the division and six points ahead of second-placed Argentina. . Brazil have beaten Paraguay, Chile and Bolivia 4-0 in each of their last three matches, while they have not lost since losing to Argentina in the Copa America final last July.

Thursday's match will be the team's first international friendly since November 2019, with a 3-0 win over South Korea thanks to goals from  Lucas Paqueta, Philippe Coutinho and Danilo.

South Korea possible starting lineup:
