Delhi Capitals will face Mumbai Indians in match number 16 of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Capitals and MI are the teams that have not won a game in IPL 2023 yet. DC played three matches, losing all, while MI played two, losing at the hands of RCB and CSK. Marsh was replaced by Rovman Powell in the playing XI against RR, but he too looked poor and may be replaced against MI. Phil Salt could replace Powell against MI, the English batsman is known for his hard hitting style and early attacking innings DC may need to cover Warner's slow scoring rate and their other batsmen can also give confidence and help easily. Prithvi Shah and Sarfaraz Khan have so far struggled against top-quality pace attacks in Delhi Capitals' crushing defeats in IPL 2023. Shah scored 19 runs while Sarfaraz scored only 34 runs at a slow scoring rate. Shaw was brought in as an impact player against RR but was dismissed by Trent Boult in the first over.
